Meraki is Greek for "doing something with soul, creativity, or love."
I chose this name because that's what I put into creating and maintaining my shop. I never understood that old phrase, "if you do what you love it doesn't feel like work" until now. During the day, I'm an Accountant, but in the evening I devote my time to this shop.
My love of thrifting began in college, and took root as I observed over and over again that vintage items are superior in both style and craft to modern day items of the same price.
Meraki Vintage is a mix of 1950's to 1990's finds - from classic to hipster to glam. My secret to great vintage shopping is to stick to what you know. What I find, I would wear.
